About Pam Winbolt
My career in the Visual Arts followed a professional career as a Ballet Dancer, which began in London. After marrying my husband, also a ballet dancer, we moved to Mannheim Germany in 1970 then to Nürnberg in 1975 where I worked as a Ballet Dancer, Teacher and finally as a Co-founder and Choreographer of a Youth Ballet Company. On returning to England after 13 years, I established a Ballet School that I ran for 6 years before starting my career as a Visual Artist.
In February 2005 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a second operation at the beginning of 2006 during which time I decided to take some time out from exhibition to spend more time with my family.

Pamela Marshall Barrell:
"Pam Winbolt's canvases and drawings are knock-out splashes of colour, with playful subtexts."

News in Focus, Tunbridge Wells:
"Pam's paintings and sculptures allude to the experience of existing in a physical body, exposing its strengths and fragility. Different states of being are explored, and Pam translates these states into paint, using passages of paint as a metaphor for the ongoing creative process and to suggest emotions."
